Laurie Maun

Laurie Maun - our second artist in residence

We were very happy to host Laurie Maun as our second artist in residence at Âmago.

We came across Laurie via our interior designer Jade Passey @escholido who introduced us to her great colour palette, shapes and textures. The colour tones we chose to use throughout Âmago were both neutral and a reflection of the region; Laurie definitely incorporated this into her designs.

Lauri stayed with us for a week with her partner (fashion designer Dom - @hereseylondon) and their 18-month old son in September 2023 and created two paintings inspired by her surroundings. Her bespoke pieces now take pride of place in rooms 1 and 2 at Âmago.

It was a pleasure to get to know Laurie and her family and find out more about her work and inspiration.
